I haven't had a Project Life update lately, but I have still been working on my album. Aside from the blog, this is the only form of memory keeping I have been able to keep up with this year, and I love it! So, it's time for me to do a bit of catch up here on the blog by linking up with The Mom Creative today.
Week 22 - Memorial Weekend; the start of summer (hard to believe it is Labor Day as I write this). Leo took the boys to the cabin. I had 24 glorious hours to myself, much of which was spent working on Project Life. We celebrated my birthday with a cookie / brownie dessert. I included a journaling card that talks about the things I am liking at this point in my life (e.g. hobbies, music, books, movies). Lucas had his early childhood screening. I took the day off from work, and we went to the zoo afterward. I included his wristband from the dinosaur exhibit as well as the Early Childhood Confirmation we received in the mail.
Week 23 - It was a pretty typical summer week for us and included a picnic in the front yard, several trips to the park, and watching Leo play softball on Tuesday night. I also included a scan of some artwork William brought home from school as well as a Happy Gram he received during the week.
Week 24 - A few highlights from the week included Lily turning 6 years old, and Lucas playing in his last soccer game of the summer. It was pouring down rain, but that didn't stop him from chasing the ball down the field and kicking it into the net. It was probably the most enthusiasm he showed for soccer all season. I also included a few Happy Grams the boys received during the week and a Martin Buck from a work party (based on The Office's well known Schrute buck).
