Goodbye, January...hello, February; one month of 2012 already complete. I'm happy to say I am making good progress on my goals.
~ Sewing - I found it overwhelming in 8th grade home economics, and I find it overwhelming now. It is safe to say that I am about ten steps behind everyone else in class on Monday nights. On a positive note, I can thread a machine. And I did complete a cloth napkin last weekend. It might not be pretty, the stitching might not be straight, and there might be many visible flaws in the finished product, but I can say I finished something.
~ Project Life - I love it! I'm taking pictures almost every day and getting them into my album every week. There really is nothing more I can say about PL except it is completely inspiring and awesome, and I see myself doing this project for many, many years to come.
~ Getting in Shape - I decided to follow Hal Higdon's novice 5k program as I kick off my quest to get in shape. I started week five of the eight week training program this week, and I am happy to say I haven't missed a run yet. I'm still huffing and puffing and have to really convince myself to get on the treadmill, but it is getting easier than it was a month ago.
~ Organizing Our House - Okay...this goal probably saw the least amount of progress this month. I did manage to sift through and organize three drawers in the kitchen, though, so that must count for something. And I have great intentions to organize many more spaces this year.
