Do You Want To Take A Bath?

Lucas has picked up on a number of things this week, including the phrase, "do you want to take a bath?" As soon as we ask this question, he takes off for the bathroom.

Wet 'n' Wild

Lucas started taking baths in the bathtub this week. What an adventure bathtime has become with so much more room to roam and explore!

Our Bug also stood on his own for what seemed like forever last night. It was really more like two seconds, but it was the longest I have witnessed him stand unassisted. Of course, he was trying to crawl into my lap for a bite of pizza at the time. He must have thought if he impressed me enough, I would sneak him a bite or two. No such luck!

Busy Night

It was a busy night for Lucas. We decided it was time for the little guy to have another bath. It had been nine days, and he was stinky! He enjoyed this bath much more than the first and spent most of it making funny faces at mom and dad.

Lucas decided he was sick and tired of wearing the same hospital garb every day and asked mom to bring in some new clothes for him to sport. He liked his new outfit so much he decided to pose and make what dad calls "his zoolander face."

After all of the excitement of the evening, Lucas was exhausted so he settled in for a nap on dad's lap, his favorite resting place.

First Bath

Lucas received his first bath on Sunday! From the pictures below, you can tell he didn't enjoy it too much, probably because of the big bruise on his head...poor, little guy.
